When buying property in Spain, agency fees can vary depending on the property, location and agency involved. We help you understand any additional charges before making a commitment.
We work to avoid additional selling-agency fees for you by seeking collaboration with the agency or developer. From the outset, we explain how fees may affect your budget in the areas where you’re looking.
In our experience, developers generally do not charge buyers a separate agency fee for new-build homes. For resale properties, practices vary: buyer-side agency fees are less common in Alicante, while in Valencia and Castellón, agencies may charge both the seller and the buyer.
Every agency and property is different, so collaboration cannot be guaranteed. We confirm any additional agency charges before you commit, alongside our own agreed fees.
